Francesca Vaccari & Diego Escobar

Diego Escobar s a dancer, teacher, and tango choreographer with 25 years of experience. He was part of the Tango x 2 company, directed by Miguel Angel Zotto, for 10 years, touring all five continents and performing in theatrical seasons in Buenos Aires with the shows Tangos de la Cruz del Sur, Una Noche de Tango, and Tango x 2 La Historia. He was also the assistant director to Miguel Angel Zotto. He spent 5 years with the Tango Metropolis Company, directed by Claudio Hoffman and Pilar Alvarez. He worked for 10 years as a teacher at the Barrio Tango school in Rome. He was a judge at the first Italian Tango Championship in Rieti, Italy, and a judge at the Buenos Aires Tango World Championship. For 12 years, along with Angi Staudinger, he has participated in the most prestigious festivals in Europe and has taught classes in Europe, the United States, Russia, and Japan. In Argentina, for the past 20 years, he has traveled across the provinces giving seminars. He has been invited as a judge for the Tango Festival and World Championship in Buenos Aires in 2018 and 2022.

Francesca Vaccari, is an Argentine Tango dancer, choreographer, and teacher and the creator of El Puntazo Estudio de Tango, a renowned Tango school in Barcelona. She placed sixth in the European Tango Championship, a preliminary round of the Tango World Championship in London in 2023. In recent years, she has collaborated artistically with numerous Argentine and European dancers, including Diego Escobar, an internationally renowned dancer and judge of the World Tango Championship organized by the City of Buenos Aires; Claudio Hoffman, a dancer, choreographer, and director of the prestigious company “Tango Metrópolis”; Roger Zalazar, European Tango champion and dancer of the company “Tangueros del Sur,” directed by the famous Natalia Hills; and Thomas Barbier, European champion of Vals Criollo (a subgenre of Argentine Tango), among others. She personally trained the Oscar-nominated actor Steve Coogan, with whom she performs as a dancer in a scene choreographed by herself in the upcoming film by Peter Cattaneo (director of Full Monty).
